Podcast Guest & Story Release Agreement

Entity: Brad H. Hill Media Group (Brad H. Hill Publishing / No One Is Normal)
1. Parties
This Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Brad H. Hill Media Group, doing business as The No One Is Normal Podcast (“Producer”), and the undersigned individual or entity (“Guest” or “Contributor”).
2. Purpose
The Guest agrees to participate in The No One Is Normal podcast, submit a personal story, or otherwise contribute creative content (“Content”) for use in audio, video, written, or promotional media associated with the show or its brand.
3. Grant of Rights
The Guest grants Brad H. Hill Media Group a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, and transferable license to record, edit, reproduce, publish, adapt, distribute, publicly perform, or display the Content, in whole or in part, across all media formats now known or hereafter developed.
This includes, but is not limited to: podcast episodes, transcripts, books, promotional content, merchandise, and advertising materials incorporating the Guest’s words, likeness, or story.
The Guest expressly waives all rights of approval, moral rights, or claims to compensation for such use.
The Producer has no obligation to publish, distribute, or otherwise use the Guest’s Content, and failure to do so shall not give rise to any claim by the Guest.
4. Ownership and Use
All recordings, transcripts, written submissions, and derivative materials created from the Content are the exclusive property of Brad H. Hill Media Group.
The Guest acknowledges that the Producer may use their statements, written words, or quotations for promotional purposes, including advertising, book excerpts, online features, and branded merchandise.
The Guest waives any claim of authorship, ownership, or compensation for such uses.
The Guest irrevocably waives all moral rights and similar rights of attribution or integrity to the extent permitted by law, including the right to object to modifications or adaptations of the Content.
5. Consent and Release
By signing or verbally agreeing to this release, the Guest consents to the recording and distribution of their voice, likeness, image, name, and statements made during participation.
This release includes consent to use their name, likeness, voice, written or spoken words, and any quotes or excerpts derived from their Content for commercial, promotional, or artistic purposes.
The Guest waives the right to inspect or approve final versions and releases Brad H. Hill Media Group, its affiliates, contractors, and assigns from all claims related to the use of the Content. Participation is voluntary and unpaid unless agreed otherwise in writing.
The Guest may request withdrawal of their Content prior to public release by submitting a written request to the Producer. The Producer retains sole discretion to grant or deny such requests. Once published, withdrawal is not possible.
6. Confidentiality and Anonymity
If anonymity is requested, the Producer will make reasonable efforts to conceal identifying details. However, complete anonymity cannot be guaranteed, and the Guest assumes responsibility for any self-disclosures made during recording.
7. No Professional Advice Disclaimer
The Guest acknowledges that The No One Is Normal podcast is intended for storytelling and discussion, not professional advice. The Producer disclaims any liability for how listeners interpret or act upon shared stories or statements.
8. Indemnification
The Guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Brad H. Hill Media Group, its officers, employees, affiliates, licensees, and assigns from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their participation, including defamation, infringement, or violation of third-party rights.
9. AI and Technological Derivatives
The Guest acknowledges that the Producer may use automated systems, artificial intelligence, or other technological tools to transcribe, edit, analyze, or repurpose the Content for creative, educational, or promotional purposes. Such use does not constitute a violation of this Agreement.
10. Governing Law and Venue
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts of Winnebago County, Wisconsin.
The prevailing party in any such proceeding shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees and costs.
11. Minors and Parental Consent
If the Guest is under 18 years of age, this Agreement must be signed by a parent or legal guardian, who consents to the Guest’s participation and agrees to these terms on the Guest’s behalf.
12. Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the Guest and Brad H. Hill Media Group and supersedes all prior communications, whether written or oral. It is binding upon the Guest and their heirs, successors, and assigns.
Guest Acknowledgment
By signing below or providing electronic/verbal consent, the Guest affirms they are at least 18 years old (or have guardian consent), have read and understood this Agreement, and voluntarily agree to its terms.
